Press Start: The Final Sprint to Beat 50 Games in 2020

If you've been listening to Ode to Games this year, you know I have a goal to beat 50 games in 2020. It started as kind of a joke goal I didn't think was achievable, but the quarantine gave me more time to catch up on my backlog this spring.

As of today, there are 112 days left in 2020, and I have to beat 19 more games. 112/19 is roughly 5.9, which means I have to beat one game every 6 days for the rest of the year.

I'm very close to the end of Super Mario Bros. 2 and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered. I'm a decent part of the way through Ghost of Tsushima, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Paper Mario: The Origami King.

I still think it can happen. I have a number of games in the backlog where I'm just steps from the finish line, and I have time to knock out a few longer experiences, too.

If only Fall Guys and Monster Hunter weren't so distracting...
